Losing My Skin

"Losing My Skin" is a captivating dual POV fantasy novel that reimagines selkie folklore while delving into the complexities of modern healthcare and chronic pain. Discover a world where magic meets reality told through two powerful, resilient female characters in my debut novel. Though centuries separate their lives, a unique connection pulls the thread of their souls towards the answers they both need. This is the first book in the Summoned Skin Series. Poetry

Endometriosis: A Nightmare

This poem was composed for The Starving Artist’s Blood Stains Link Ink exhibit aiming to address period equity. Check out the virtual gallery here.

A nightmare ravaging my insides

Stealing light and haunting life

Broken and fracturing what was once whole

A darkness swirling and mocking

Twisting tissue and bending the soul

Claiming all I had and can no longer hold

An unforgiving force of despair

Plucking at strings and untying sanity

Hidden pain that few understand or believe
